I recently installed bbm 6.0.0.129 on my 9700 6.0.0.600. I have been using bridge on my playbook with no issues but now i try using bbm on my playbook and i get the message "Blackberry bridge plug-in for blackberry messenger does not exist..." I have deleted the bluetooth profiles on both devices, deleted and reinstalled bbm on my 9700 but to no avail. I found an article elsewhere about how to fix this issue but I am unwilling to wipe and reinstall my 9700 or my pb. Any ideas or fixes?

Did you try restarting both devices? That's what I had to do.

So I fixed it. I deleted both devices from the bluetooth profiles on both the 9700 and the pb. I plugged in my pb to my pc and it automatically installs "software" to it. and restarted both devices and reconnected. Problem solved!
