No, but it's like a 100% chance that we'll get it in the near future. I think at least Wikitude will be one of the first to make it for the playbook - we need BBM :rolleyes:
The pb is an excellent size for seeing the world through its screen.
Maybe the 3g+ playbook will have native BBM and Wikitude :rolleyes:
That's a shame, I was hoping to use it with an AR player like Ar-media player.

But have the playbook connected to a large monitor via hdmi. Was mainly to make use of the playbooks great camera.
The magnetometer only just became available for developers to use in their apps. RIM has been really slow off the mark with several highly desirable API's. So far there is one AR astronomy app that uses the compass to provide a straight-forward "point and view" capability. Sales took off when the app was updated in late January so consumers know a good thing when they see it.
On the horizon, I can see that there's a million opportunities for developers to exercise their imaginations. I think that when they finally discover some of PlayBook's advanced sensors, good things will begin to happen. I don't see much activity yet though.
