Greetings everyone,
So I am hoping the community can yet help me out again! So the commercial satellite internet on my camp has much to be desire (not my dilema issue) but I have managed to work with it. I believe the backend is based in Germany.
Typically I can just launch App World and browse applications. Well I was searching for a Bible App, and after reading various posts here on the forum decided to check out e-Mmanuel. I search App World and couldn't find it with my PlayBook. I googled it and was able to get links to the application from the web that launched app world and opened up to the app. Well the message I would get for the app was that it wasn't supported for my device.
I sent an email to the developer and he quickly responded and gave me a solution to use a proxy for the USA. Well that worked great, I managed to download the lite version of the app and it exactly what I was looking for.
Well now, I go back into app world to purchase the app, but I can't log into my BBID. I'm guessing that requires an https connection. So I find an https proxy, launch app world and I can log into my BBID, but now I can't find the developers app.
SO... (stay with me I'm almost done!) I am asking if there is a way to proxy both a standard http and https connection through the PlayBook? That appears to be my fix to the problem I am having.
Thank you for any assistance in this matter.
