Ever since upgrading to OS 2.0, I have not been able to download upgrades or new apps. I get error 007. Why gives?

    Hi,

I had the exact same problem and haven't been able to fix it. What did you mean "disconnect all connections"?

The weird thing is on a different wifi router I don't get this issue, but on my home wifi it occurs.

change your system time to 2008 , make sure to uncheck automatically set time, reboot, reset time should be fixed

I tried changing to 2014 and 2016, rebooted, changed back the date, but still have the same problem. Haven't tried 2008 though, does the year matter?

How do I select 2008 as the year? It only goes as far back as 2010.

    Folks,
After logging a ticket with RIM & trying many of the solutions on web forums and BB KB including a secure wipe, I seem to have found a fix for this issue on my own. It works for me. I changed the DNS Settings on my Playbook wifi profile to the OpenDNS Primary & Secondary IP. After this, when i tried installing an App on Appworld, it installed perfectly fine! So presume it was an issue with my Broadband service providers DNS Server.

I get an error while installing "protect the cheese" -- "install error: [0008]". Had the same issue while installing N.O.V.A 2 HD, but after doing a security wipe a day back, that problem got fixed. Any fix for this error?
