No you cant yet. Maybe in bb10.
Two notes...
One: "probably aren't hurting my memory at all": in fact they're not present in any form, except perhaps for a bit of cached data in the App World app just to let it display the Uninstalled listing and icons for those apps. The app assets (code, images, etc) and the data are entirely removed, gone, period. Not a trace, so no concerns there.
Two: RIM is aware of people's desire to at least hide the entries in the listing, and has said they will provide some improvements in that area. Probably with BB10... or at least "maybe in BB10" as playbookster says. Pick one depending on your degree of pessimism today. ;-)
I love this question every time it comes up. I'm not sure why its so important but a lot of people ask about it.
I guess they are the ones that haven't tried opening app world without an Internet connection to see the only thing that is on the PlayBook are the installed apps.
Anyway it would be nice to have a filter like it does on the BB phone.
But it still strikes me as funny.
Actually, I'm now happy to upgrade that to "definitely in BB10", for anyone willing to take my word on it for now. ;-)
