    1. If you didnt know it was going to be a game, go slap your mom for having dumb kids.
    2. Any big name app or game coming to the PB only helps.
    3. It's a native app. Rare indeed.
    4. The icon is cool looking on the PB.

Any time a big name releases an app that is well sold and welcomed on the PB, this showing might help convenience other app makers to produce more apps for the PB.

Yes, it's just a game, but from a big name. One name that if lost, would cause a very
loud cry from the BB world and further dull the PBs outlook.

    and so it went...

Well I know now why they tweeted for us to charge up our PlayBooks. Angry Birds Space just ate my battery in about 4 hrs

What a waste, only a couple of hours play and completed it. No where near enough gameplay for the price.

This release is more than just a mainstream game coming to the playbook though.

what people might be missing is the bigger picture... the game is great and all but the fact that a mainstream game supported the QNX os as the third platform of choice (read: not Windows OS) says a lot more...

hopefully its a sign of things to come and at least for me, signals to "something wonderful"... its a positive sign and should be treated as such..

    my 2 cents

As I noted before, it came out before WP version, and people made a HUGE deal that it wasn't available on WP at the time the other versions came out (for iOS and android). Wonder if any of the tech blogs would say anything (probably not because it's good news about the PB afterall).

Honestly what will everyone do when they have all that they want (skype, netflix etc..)? I think heads will explode when no one has nothing to complain about.

Good to see Roxio not charging 4.99 for this. Hopefully they'll start updating Seasons and the regular Angry Birds soon.

Well it's great. The more apps the better. I am RIMs biggest supporter but I'd love to be more excited at THEIR very own slogan, 'Tools not Toys'.

I thought the Blackberry was for "enterprise" users and Angry Birds was for the Apple bois? Hmm. Double standards methinks!
"Enterprise" users do want to be entertained sometimes.

The difference between an enterprise user and a consumer is that the former can bill the company for purchases whereas the latter cannot.

Thanks Rovio! Keep up the good work.

I'd say it is something good coming from the game person at RIM. As others have said. What do/did you expect from the head of this division? He would tweet about auto cad coming?
