I'll buy a version even if I don't ever play it. That $5 from each PB owner will send a message to the developer industry about the demand for good apps and the potential for the PB.
Yes, and this will do more to help PB and BB10 succeed than twenty threads telling RIM how important developers are. If/when Rovio reports solid sales here, the rest of us will spend the money/time to get to up to speed with the platform (at least games for now until RIM finishes the UI framework for business/utility apps).
here are some opinions for those having trouble deciding between seasons and rio
i think seasons is out of the question for me now, so its between the original angry birds and rio, maybe ill get the original on my playbook and rio on my gf's
Too bad the display units at Best Buy and elsewhere will not have this downloaded. You may not like games, but Angry Birds, for whatever reason, does help sell tablets. It would be nice to see it on the display units so that potential customers will know its available.
$4.99? What a joke. No trial/demo version either. Rovio thinks they can rest on the name alone, instead of employing the same strategy that made them successful in the first place. Not paying $15 for three identical titles, no siree bob.
