Android Network Access Slow

I love using Android apps but I wanted to try out some of the browsers and I've got to say they are very nice. However, I've noticed something strange with ALL Android apps on the Playbook, they have extremely slow network access, I tried loading up the Crackberry homepage in the Native browser and it rendered half the page in about 10 seconds the Android bowsers were doing that after about 30 seconds of downloading. I tried a sideloaded Youtube downloader and was met with the same results.

Is there some sort of network restriction for Android apps on the Playbook?
