    I am thinking so too...

RIM Mgr: "People, we need to do more testing on this.."
    RIM Emp: "Let's *cough*cough* leak a build"
Rim Mgr: Through in email and PIM apps. That'll shut them up for a while.

Only 2 questions I see that matters is, 1) has anyone been able to load and run any other android apps - like googlemaps? 2) if the leak came from the latest desktop manager - could this possibly be loaded on an OS7 device, or is this a native QNX application?

I noticed that in zip file that was downloaded, there is a directory "native/system/app" There are 34 .apk files listed there.
So i just finished downloading the .bar, where did you get the .zip file?

But I will wait for the official unless I hear of the long awaited android apps, I don't really care about messaging and contacts!

Yeah .bar file. Of course at 143 megs, no current BB handheld would be able to load it anyway, let alone any android applications to test it. Well - I'm happy for you PB users.

.Bar is just like a .zip, rename it and you'll be able to see everything in it

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

you can change the extension to zip and windows will see a regular zip

i extracted all files, added an apk to the apps folder

    re-zipped

    renamed to bar
