For those of you that have Air Browser File Manager is has been updated with the ability to open the file within Air Browser. Works well. Just a heads up

My pb is downstairs so I can't check but the other day someone mentioned an app was updated. When I checked, it did not show as updated. An hour or so later is did show. Are they staggering access so that some of us don't see updates at the same time?

Confirmed working. I was able to open an mp3 from the music folder. The music app opened. Then opened up a pdf in the documents. This is probably the quickest way to open content with different sources.

Not all of my video files are showing in the video file though.

I am liking this much better than File Manager already & this is free! I feel ripped off buying file manager, oh well. Everything I have does open also, I dont have a lot yet on my playbook but what I do have opens flawlessly

Go into My World.Swipe from the bottom left corner to the middle to show the keyboard, type RST. Repeat swipe to close keyboard. Close Appworld and reopen

Tried the RST but still no update.

I have 1.5 working. One thing I noticed is that while there is a folder for bookmarks, none of the bookmarks I've made show up. But that is also true in FileCommander (another file manager app) so its likely a QNX glitch, rather than a problem in Air Browser.

No update here either - still 1.4.2. I did get the update of the Periodic Table/Elements!

this is the best free app i know off. now if you can only preview the files i.e. small picture of the pic, video, file that would complete this file browser experience

The RST trick worked for me. I had to tap on the app in order to see the update. If I was just viewing it in app world I did not see the update.

Are we talking about Air Browser by Nicolas Chaix? I've done RST till my finger hurts (g) and I don't get offered a version higher than 1.4.2

I've gone to the app directly. I've search for "air" to find it. I've gone to MyWorld.

I guess rebooting is next...

Yes restart the PB and then view Air Browser in App world.

Just got home from the gym and opened appworld and there it was - no reboot. Obviously, there is something selective about how it presents info.
