I'm seeing the best EA Games on iOS currently being sold for .99 cents. Any chance of that also happening on Playbook's app store? Maybe on the holidays? :-S

I hope not. Cheap games are just that, cheap. It takes people to develop games and application and people need to get paid. If the price is higher in apo world and the profits larger then in the long run the developer will make more money developping for RIM. I dont care about quantity of apps I want quality. Apple has lots of apps but very few developers have built quality apps. Just look at garage band for the iPad. Notice how no other developper have not created an app of that caliber. Apple is pricing their developper out of the game by forcing them into an ecosystem where everything is .99.

Just because EA games go on sale, doesn't mean the games are cheap.

That being said, how long do these sales usually last? Because Bejeweled is supposed to be free soon (due to the Free apps RIM is offering) and I don't want to buy it if it's gonna be free. Does anyone know?

I hope not too also. I hope they make games that are worth $1000. Hellz if you are at it why not make games that are worth a million dollars. ( because the more expensive the app is the more quality app it is )

I'd like to see EA offer a sale too - I like their games, but I can't keep paying $6.99 for them lol (although that is a heckuva lot better than $69.99 for an XBox game, to be fair).
