I was just on Good e Reader's web site and they currently have over 81 sideloadable apps available. They also have a great how to tutorial on sideloading the apps onto the PlayBook.
Apps are of good quality and I have only had one app not function as expected.

Confused BB essential app states that it has to be downloaded on PB. Does this mean that it's possible to download apps and install them directly on PB ? Or is this a sideloading tool? I have a Mac. A gallery app would be nice, PB's native gallery isn't good.

Yup, "download using the browser on your Playbook" threw me off too... I don't really see the point in downloading directly on the playbook if I have to use an external installer to install it on the PB anyway... why keep the excess baggage on the PB too? Oh well... I'm sticking to my old method of putting the BARs on the PC and installing them to the PB. To me, that makes sense.
I have downloaded and isntalled 7 so far, using the dauden installer.
words with friends (Very slow, could only get local games to work)
Air control lite (worked great)
Blackboard (couldnt find my school, wouldnt get past the search page)
Photoshop express (didn't recognise i had any pictures on my playbook)
My paper plane 2 (worked great)
Twitter (couldnt login)
Skyfire browser (very slow worked once)
Has any one found the above apps to work, i will try again using one of the other install methods incase this has been the issue. Was so excited when I first saw these!
I see a newer version of Google Maps than the one I sideloaded last week. Do I need to uninstall the one that's on there, via the DDPB application, and then install the newer one fresh? I guess this applies to any app I sideloaded.
Reading the comments it looks like mvideoplayer is not working for you guys. I don't have the bar file I used, but I can verify that it is indeed working.

Thanks for downloading the apps guys! We add new ones everyday, so make sure to keep checking back. We also update a number of apps that aren't working for people, aka USA Today, and many more. This is all based on feedback we get.
