I just want to ask if side-loading an android app needs to be via wifi or can I just use my mobile data? I'm trying to do it now, my lappy was connected via tethering, so I'm using my mobile data for both pc and bbz10. Is there any problem with that? Because it seems that, the time that I clicked my IPV address in the playbook manager, it is not loading, and I have this error (Google Chrome's connection attempt to was rejected). I'm sure I did everything right.

Does this requires Wifi connection for both pc and bb10???'

Welcome to CrackBerry! A bit confused whether you're loading to the Z or bb10?

You can side load three ways.

    10.2.1 + APK

You can just use file manager on tour device after copying it over your downloads or whatever. File manager will let you run the APK to install the app.

    AnyOS + BAR

Wifi: enable development mode on your z10 + the system side loading. They should be on the same network. You can test if it should work by pinging your z10 IP. Use a side loader to install the bar.

USB: you can also do this over USB, enable development mode, and use the USB IP 169.xxx.xxx.xxx. Whatever it says on the device.

    To check your IP:

Look in system - about - network
