I have the best and cheapest. I win. 500mb (plenty enough for me), Unlimited Talk and Text and everything works on my Z10 except BBM video/voice without the WiFi connected.
Here it is. How to do it, in detail:
Set-up requires a bit of a "workaround" but here is exactly how to get BlackBerry 10 phones (z10, q10, z30) fully working on Black Wireless.
    1. From your BB10 device, open the Blackberry Browser and type in "escreen://" in the URL field and then "enter" (you do not need to have it connected to the internet). The "help me" screen will come up which displays information about the device: OS, pin number and uptime. Also, you can access escreen another way: go to settings/about/then two finger swipe up and enter; "escr"
    2. On your computer, then go to this site eScreen Keygen and enter in the information it asks for, which you just obtained in the previous step above: a) device Pin #, b) the device OS version and c) Uptime seconds. Select a "good for" time and it will generate the code you need.
    3. Next... swipe your BB touch screen up from the bottom with two fingers (you don't need to do this on the Q10...it has a keyboard...so just start typing in the code). This will bring up the typing keyboard. Type in the code that was generated in the previous step above. This will bring you to the engineering screen where there is a menu. Note: you will be typing "blindly" and won't see what you are typing. You do not need to press enter. If you don't get the engineering screen to come up, it is because of an error either in the keygen code (where you may have entered a wrong number and thus it generated the wrong code) or when you typed this code into the BB10 device.
    4. From the engineering screen, choose "general radio" from the menu. Then choose the APN field (it should say "phone" inside the box). Change this field to "att.mvno" and then touch once outside the box, anywhere on the screen. Don't mess with anything else or you could screw up your phone. Immediately get out of escreen mode (by swiping up).
    5. Verify data is working: go to settings/network and connections/mobile network...it should say "Black Wireless 4G-Voice/Data".

Here is a link that also explains this whole procedure: How to access the engineering (Help Me!) screen on BlackBerry 10 | CrackBerry.com

    1. AFTER you have successfully set the APN as explained above, then turn off your phone, remove the SIM card, put the battery back in without the SIM and reboot.
    2. When the phone comes back on, go to "text messages/settings/advanced". You should now see the fields available to set up MMS when you scroll down.
    3. Type in these two fields only and DON'T touch the APN field you see there: MMSC= "http://mmsc.cingular.com" and PROXY URL= Then hit "save". (Actually, I think it automatically saves it).
    4. Turn off the phone, re-insert the SIM and battery and reboot. Test by sending a picture message to yourself.

    You're done.

Note: BBM Video/voice will still not work except with WiFi. This may also be true with all "unlimited" AT&T plans, either directly, through Black Wireless or through any other MVNO operators, possibly even other carriers such as Verizon.

Black Wireless is GSM only. They are an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) on the ATT network. I was also on AirVoice Wireless before and then switched because of pricing (AirVoice pricing recently came down and is basically the same now as BlackWireless and uses the EXACT same settings I gave above...AND they have cute mid-west farmer's daughters answering their customer service lines!). I live in the city so nice they named it twice and ATT network has great reception here and in all surrounding areas. Way better than T-Mobile.

You can get some great deals this way, Virgin Mobile, Page Plus, and Simple Mobile are other similar options.

I think the commonality for all these is the sequence of setting up the data/mms as I outlined above. I spoke at length with the BlackBerry tech department. The APN settings are coming from BlackBerry servers and are based on whether or not a carrier is on their "list" along with the specific data/mms settings BlackBerry has on record that go with that carrier. MVNO's utilize the major four networks but have different APN settings and I think most are currently not on BlackBerry's "list" and therefore the "mother network" settings get programmed into the phone instead which obviously won't work. Accessing escreen and setting the APN there permanently gets in front on any settings sent by BlackBerry's servers that are generated by the association of the SIM card to a particular network on BlackBerry's list. This effectively disables the erroneous APN instructions sent by BlackBerry's servers and enables you to then change the MMS settings and have them stick. APN MUST be set FIRST in escreen, then MMS. I notice Aio is now recognized on BlackBerry's list and you don't have to do any of this and they are almost as inexpensive. I trust with Chen, every virtual network operator will automatically have it's apn/mms settings programmed into BlackBerry's servers very soon.

I realize this is an old thread, but as a FYI, you can set the APN in the network tab.
