Yeah it is, this was one of my options before but they took too long to release it and many people went with the TP2 instead. And now with the mention of that beast the Leo coming to the US i don't see the Omia sales doing too well. But it is a sweet phone non the less.
this Omnia II may also be headed for t-mobile or att. the specs say gsm.
I think this may be going to AT&T I didn't read see anything about t-mo.
This may be my unit for the next year....................
AT&T an T-mo are cousins anyway; so u can probably unlock it
an run it on either network. I was suprised to find that out
when I saw a co-worker running an Iphone on T-mo.
The screen alone on this thing wow

Not likely unfortunately. Tmobile uses their own 3g frequencies that no one else does.
So either:
-It releases for Tmobile, probably won't work on AT&T or any other gsm carrier for 3g
-It releases on AT&T and won't have the Tmobile 3g frequencies (Tmobile users would care a lot less though, since Tmobile 3g is far less widespread than AT&T)
Only way it would work on 3g for both carriers is if they released a version for both carriers.
The O2 CDMA is exclusive with Verizon. Word is it will be released with WM 6.1.
No verification when, however. Speculation is Nov./Dec. Lot's of folks waiting for this phone over in the Verizon forums. Some are hoping it will see an Oct. release.
It does appear to be a very appealing device...if it can perform as promised from Samsung. Not sure how different the GMS version is from the CDMA, however...
i have YouTubed the Verizon version and it is sweet. Kinda makes me think of the Storm in landscape text mode. A VZW rep said maybe the end of the year but who knows we know it is coming soon.
Sprint's not getting it huh; wow.
