So I think the Instinct has made a fairly good impression among the touch-screen phone users. It has also been good for Sprint, which has struggled tremendously since the Nextel Merger.
It appears that Samsung has nother phone up their sleeve: the Omnia. It looks like a super-version of the Instinct that runs on Windows Mobile. Things could get very interesting in Q3 and Q4. Most likely the Omnia will be released in Q4; Google Android is releasing the HTC "Dream" touch screen; Iphone will no doubt beef up their apps store or something to help keep people on board. Thunder hopefully will be released at end of Q3.

Seriosuly, this is a very cool time in the wireless world we live in. No doubt the phones we see from now until the end of the year could have an influential impact on how we utilize our phones and how ALL phones are designed for the next 3 years or so, which in phone years that's more like 30!

I posted an article from Popular Science a while ago. If you think these devices are good, wait till you see what's coming within the next year or so. The phones you are thinking of are already designed and just waiting for the tech to be shrunk down.
