I used to have a BlackBerry torch and I used to love how I found really useful apps readily available to have then. Now, I have a BlackBerry Z10 and I was sad when I soon found a limited number of apps that I can have. Most of all, there are no banking apps in BlackBerry World for users in the UK. Heartbroken. Have already sent Natwest an email about this.

I use the Barclays banking app on my Curve 9320 running OS 7.1 a lot. So that's one more reason I'll hold out on getting a Q10 for now.

I think the whole thing has not been planned properly, nearly regretting having this phone due to the lack of apps. Surely they're working on it. I hope so

I agree I wish RBS would pull their finger out and release one soon, keep having to carry my old BlackBerry around purely for the app

RBS, LLoydsTSB, HBOS etc. could be made available. Wouldn't mind that at all.

Oh and as for NFC... I'm not even aware if I can use it or if banks allow this technology to be used. Maybe I'm wrong, or they're working on it... clever phone but so under used to its potential.

You can create your own banking app by going to your banks mobile Web page via the browser and then save this page as a bookmark to your home page. Just created one for LloydsTSB and it works a charm.

    Whoosh......careful! Z10 in action here! : )

I know that myself. But an app provides better screen estate as it utilises the screen better. So I prefer apps to mobile browsing where ever substitutable

Using the LIoydsTSB mobile Web page here makes it ideal for the screen on the Z10. Only when I am enter my passwords etc at the beginning do I have to scroll or zoom. When I am past that though it works well for the screen with it fitting into portrait mode OK. Not sure what other banks mobile Web sites are like so can't comment on those ones, but the LloydsTSB mobile Web page makes it seem like an app anyway.

I'm currently with Santander and their mobile Web page is actually quite good although I too would agree a native app would provide a smoother experience

Especially as it would be easier to adopt NFC abilities into an app whereas I'm not sure if the browser can utilize that
