    I have a BB 7250 and I tried to update the browser using an alx from an OS from another phone by accident and now it's stuck in an hourglass loop. Eventually it goes to a red light and restarts the loop again. Is there a way to fix this?

    Well I tried using a guide I found, but it has a password so the apploader can't connect quick enough as I have to enter the password.

    You'll have to fire up Desktop Software and reload the OS.

    I can't. "BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot communicate with the connected device." As I said, it's stuck in a reboot loop with the red light/hourglass and it's password protected

    A connection to the device could not be established. Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the cradle or USB cable, and that the cradle or USB cable is connected securely to your computer. Also ensure that the device has completed any startup operations. Then run the Application Loader Wizard again.

    I tried that already, I get that error above. I think it might be due to timing as my phone has a password enabled

    edit: I have tried it multiple times, not just once. Would verizon still fix a phone like this if I sent it in as I still use this as my phone?
