Here is the SDK and it includes the programmer and simulator. Tested on Windows 7 and it works fine. You need Visual studio 6 installed first. (Can be found online as abandonware):

I forgot to mention in the video, there is also a program called TaskSwitcher, you use it by holding ALT+Back to multitask:

Also there is a program for Windows 98 that turns txt documents into .ipd and can be transferred into Notes via Desktop Manager restore and used as eBooks. Tested by me. The only disadvantage, it will replace any other notes you have on the device. :

These games and programs are all unofficial so the Loader program might not recognise them as compatible if you try to load them into the device that way. I used the programmer tool that comes with the SDK to side load. After installing the SDK, in the tools folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Handheld SDK 2.5.0\tools) copy the programmer.exe file to the game folder you are trying to install. Start a command prompt in that folder (Hold down Shift key and right click inside the folder > Open command window here) then type: programmer -p1 load gamename.dll ( -p1 represents COM1. If your cradle is connected to a different port, change accordingly. Mine was in COM17 so I had to put -p17. You can check where your device is connected by going to My computer> System proprieties > Device manager > Ports. Gamename.dll represents the name of the game you are trying to load. In that folder there is only one .dll file, so change the command name to that file. Per example for me to load Dstar game I would type: programmer -p17 load dstar.dll )
