    I moved to Alaska from the east coast been using my 6510 for long time, and want to continue use it but theres no nextel or sprint carriers up here. How can I have it fixed to work with another carriers up here??

    A quick plot via Sprint-Welcome doesn't make me optimistic you'll have luck with that device up there though.

    Sprint or Nextel?

    If it's Sprint, then you may not be able to do so unless there are CDMA carriers in Alaska that allow you to use Sprint's ESN on their network.

    If it's Nextel, I'm not positive, but you may be able to unlock and use on AT&T in Alaska.

    Nextel uses iDEN not GSM.

    Canx the contract and get service on a new unit that will work in your area.
