Some years ago I had a RIM 957 pager from Cingular and it had a heavily modified Blackberry OS called Good OS. I sold the device since then and I was trying to find some info about the OS but no luck. I only have one photo of the device. Anyone knows anything about it?

I think it might have been called GoodLink. There's a reference a few sentences into this CNET article where it says that it can replace RIM's software on the 957.
If that's the right software, the installation guide is online here.

Thank you, that is very helpful. That is exactly what I am looking for. Never knew it was a rival company providing people with an alternative OS for the 957. And Blackberry were not happy about it. Seems like BB acquired Good company last year. Strange turn of events.
But can someone provide a download link? I keep digging the internet but can't find the GoodLink Desktop software required to install the OS to the 957.
It wasn't just a rival OS. It also had a rival server system. Anyways, I looked through Good's site on the Wayback Machine (archive.org), but all the download links are dead.
in my search for one I found a forum with a guy asking for an alternative for his wife's G100,saying the navigation stick was giving up. so I guess people actually bought and used these devices.
