Could someone please be so kind to help me?
I have always loved Blackberries , but I just actually got one last week. I've been working really hard to try and get it going, but sadly it won't work =[


it worked when I got it (for my birthday , possibly used) and it turned on and everything. I downloaded the desktop manager online, plugged it into the computer, pressed connect and nothing happened. I unplugged everything and now my blackberry 7290 is completely black, there is no screen at all. The red light continues to blink twice quickly however every few seconds when the phone is plugged in.



can someone please help me find a way to completely restart / repair my phone?

You should try to download a new OS (hnd held software) from your carrier web site. Install it to the Desk Top Manager and thn plug in the blackberry....should auto launch the application loader and replace the device OS. Good Luck ;-)

yeah,get a new OS downloaded to your fone ,it will return to normal.
