contacts from old bb to new curve .. how to?
hi everyone,
forgive me if this topic doesnt fit here, but i tried to post on the general howto forum and it was forbidding me for some reason? something about my accounting awaiting activation but i have been had it for months now and have posted several times. anyway, im helping my boss with his new curve (setting up/transfering etc).
he has an old blackberry and i truthfully don't know what model it is .. but its black and the buttons are grey and more "separated". its quite thicker and wider too. what he has asked me to help him with today is .. he is trying to transfer some addresses from his old bb to his new one. i have already loaded on his contacts (he has lots!) from outlook on his computer .. but he says there were a few that he manually entered into his old bb that might be more "current" versions of the some of the contacts on his outlook address book. he now wants to override those from outlook by somehow getting the contacts from his old bb and adding them to the contacts on his new curve. i have NO idea how to do this and im a little apprehensive cause i dont want to undo all of the transferring of contacts via outlook that i have done. my question is (sorry for being so confusing) .. is it possible to take contacts from an old blackberry and use the computer software that came with the new curve to add them? again, apologize for insanely confusing description!
thanks in advance!
