7230--Can I do anything with it?

I just picked up a 7230 off ebay and would like to know if I can do anything with it. I don't want to get any service, I just wanted to use it as a wireless internet device. Email, SMS, maybe Skype. So far I have not been able to do anything with it. Can I install Skype? Can I install a browser? Can I do anything with it?

not without a data plan from a carrier which is an add on to a voice plan

I too picked up a 7230 from ebay and have the same problem. Have you been able to have a broweser installed? If so, please help me out with the process.

You need a blackberry data plan to use the internet service on that device.

The ebay is more than likely not going to operate on a device that old due to its OS version. Just use the wap site for ebay. wap.ebay.com or m.ebay.com
