I have a 12 year old blackberry (the big kind with a base and all that orignal blackberry stuff) it still works, I guess lol, it turns on and what not, but I don't think its able to be used as anything other then a paperweight and a calender LMAO well I was wondering what I can do with it, it takes up alotta space lol. I happen to live in waterloo region (aka home of RIM) maybe they have some sort of drop-off, or maybe even can I get money for it?

take a picture and transfer to your laptop. then go to advanced post options and under the message area there will be a spot to upload files. the rest you probably know LOL
I would LOOVVEE a screen that big but itd be to big for my hands lol, I like the feeling of my fingers locked together behind my phone. It feels more secure (although it doesn't make me any less likely to drop it lmao)

I agree! That totally looks like a piston with an articulated skirt! I didn't even notice it when I looked at the pic the first time. Now I wanna know lol
I think the Ontario government has a program where they send out 2 guys to pick up your "unit" and dispose of it for free. Ohh wait..that's for refrigerators !!! That reminds me of my Handspring Visor days.
Memories! I actually just sold a new/never used 957 on ebay for $10. I have a client who's had BB's since the 857 series (and maybe the model before that, can't remember). Long before regular carriers had these devices. I think we had him set up through Motient. Great device; only problem was my client kept breaking the thumb wheel. Must have gone through 3-4 of these in 2 years before I finally got him on a 71xx series.
The funny thing is there is still a company here in the US that runs the Mobitex network that they run on, they only charge like $50/yr for unlimited messaging.. i kind of want to get one now
