Wow. They look excellent! 27 for 3GB (5 till Oct end). I hope Voda will offer something similar!

I can get 4G for exactly the same as I pay now on a simplicity sim. Only difference is that I'm on a one month rolling one and this one is for 12 months.
I've been with o2 for so long that another 12 months won't hurt.
Pity 4G from o2 doesn't seem to be coming to Belfast until 2014.
My other sim is with 3uk who are doing 4G at no extra cost, maybe they can roll it out in Belfast quicker I'm keen to try it especially as it's not going to be costing me anything extra per month!

I'm hoping they'll let me switch to 4G without having to buy out my contact and start a new one

I tweeted O2 and they said you can switch over to a 4G tariff on August 29th without having to buy yourself out of your current contract

Either this person doesn't know they've already published 4G tariffs, or they'll be bringing more in for those that want to switch mid contract

Don't think the people that run O2's twitter account know what they're talking about, as far as I can tell, the current tariffs don't allow you to switch mid contract unless you buy out your contract (which would cost me around 350)

I currently pay 37 on Voda for unlimited calls+texts, plus 1gb data. Similar to that of O2 I believe. Voda told me that on launch day, all I need do is call up and get switched over. It will be an extra 1 a month and I'll get another 1gb of data too.

No effect on my contract term. Just a straight swap. Fingers crossed O2 will allow the same!

If you want 4G you need to pay 5/month. See the other thread I commented in.
