    I'm reading that there will be a statement in April from BlackBerry. I expect it's about their stance towards devices and the usual fiscal performance report and information.

    I want to buy a Classic or a Passport. Should I wait till this statement?

    Do you guys think there will be something important in it?

    I remember Mr. Chen said that they will decide the device division's fate in 2016 if the Priv isn't profitable. (after the first quarter's report or something like that)

    What do you guys think? (and please if you have more useful information about it, please share)

    I don't think Chen will make any substantive announcements on hardware in this ER regarding BB10. He may clarify the status of Vienna. That said 4/1 is not far away and waiting wouldn't hurt you.

    You can buy the Classic and Passport as they are the devices can handle future OS developments. Older devices have reached EOL. and Yes the Priv will make a strong impact on results.

    The future of the handset division is fated on the sales of Priv, which I'm guessing is doing really well since they just released it in Japan. My prediction is the Vienna is a for sure thing this coming October.
