Just came across this. The downside is that you need to buy a special dock to connect it to your computer, but it's looking pretty slick.

Just in case the video gets pulled, here's the link to the article ...

Similar, pretty cool, but like you said you need an added dock. Plus, it's more of a media extender than what Blend does, which duplicates your device's incoming communications (email, text, phone calls, BBM) on your desktop while leaving no trace once your BlackBerry is disconnected. I do like how Continuum can actually show what's on-screen though, that's very helpful.

    Thanks for the link.

    Certainly looks interesting.
If the time comes when there isn't a BB10 device for me to upgrade to, I'm pretty sure I won't go Android or iOS.

Hopefully by then, the dock won't be necessary lol.

Blend is more useful, imo. I need a real computer to do work, so Blend integrates with my workflow. A 950xl would be of no use to me as a PC replacement. That said, it's a really cool feature.

Yeah but you need to carry a display, a keyboard, and a mouse wherever you go. Or, borrow it? (seriously?)

seems gimmick, unless the phone runs a full windows 10 desktop when connected to display, I prefer bringing my laptop in my bag.

Yeah, and it seems to me we had laptops with cell phone docks years ago. Android laptop docks? Those never really took off, did they.

We're getting there. Microsoft is still working on apps like "Phone" for x86 Windows 10. This is Microsoft's half baked, work in progress solution before that.

Windows 10 Mobile has a better multitasking interface than Android in the taskbar so that is one small differentiator in terms of the smartphone laptop concept.

Running BB10 and sticking with Blend. Keep it running on my PC all the time. Hopefully BlackBerry keeps it functional.
