Companies would rather not get involved in the political world. They don't want to advertise something that could make one group very happy and another very angry.

Um, have you ever heard of lobbying? Companies are intimately involved in politics.

Hey if the leader of the free world is using it how is that not a good thing? All those Ne sayers have you ever been trough customs? Security is a top priority for the US. Heck I wish Harper would rock one if he doesn't already have.

The Prime Minister may not publicly be allowed to show his phone, if he has one, as the RCMP handles a lot of the security.

Well there is video proof of the White House giving input to John Chen himself, and about Obama's Blackberry!

Most (if not all) of the cell phones issued by the Federal Government to their employees are BlackBerrys.
I know for a fact that all of the cell phones used by RCMP officers are BlackBerrys.
Therefore, it's a pretty good bet the Prime Minister rocks a BlackBerry.
