Take a look at the last section in the article. I dont understand why they always feel the need to put down BlackBerry!

Many people are invested in the status quo. They keep bashing BlackBerry because their afraid. I would be more worried for BlackBerry if you herd nothing about them at all. This constant bashing just reinforces my confidence that BlackBerry is making a comeback.

Blackberry in a Verge article equals bashing... they do not need a reason other than they are Apple centric site to do so... they have a long history of snarky BB comments.... so as the old adage goes "look at the source"......

Slow down dude. We all love our BlackBerry, but no one is afraid. BlackBerry has lost so much consumer traction over the years, it is virtually impossible for any chance to regain.

I'm not so sure about that. Maybe not as big, but gaining traction, for sure. Look at all of the write ups on QNX lately. It is in 50 million autos already. Ever stop to think that some of these people driving these vehicles with QNX may take a look at Black Berry phones and in general thinking that if they are driving a vehicle in which QNX is used, it might make them make the switch and own a black berry phone as well? Especially if QNX enables communication with other devices? Think of how smoothly it would probably operate with bb phones. Possibilities are endless. Maybe not so much in the phone division, but in time some of it may start to come back

In a way, BlackBerry now IS like the old Apple. There was a small niche (professional studios, engineers, etc.) that used Apple products. Everybody else used Microsoft/PC and all of the PC users bashed Apple and always claimed they were doomed, etc. But look at it now.

Sadly though, and with the loss of Jobs, Apple is heading down a bad road - quality sucks, they're abandoning their core base users for the iSheep crowd, business choices out of desperation and trying to be something it shouldn't, etc.

In a way, I hope BlackBerry does an Apple comeback/climb to the top while also learning from Apple's mistakes.

Most people won't have a clue what is running their car system. It will work with their android or iPhone so no need to even think about QNX or BB.

How do we know that somewhere on the face panel there will not be a Black Berry Logo anyplace?

When threads like "BlackBerry - the new Apple?" appear on Crackberry all the time, fans kind of set themselves up as an easy target.

No. Especially with the absence of QNX branding.

From WikiPedia: In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time, or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values. If the dissonance is not reduced by changing one's belief, the dissonance can result in restoring consonance through misperception, rejection or refutation of the information, seeking support from others who share the beliefs, and attempting to persuade others.

The Verge can't start saying nice things about Blackberry now, they've spent too long bashing them.

Although it could also be applied to Blackberry fans over the past few years, we're all only human

Works for what I need. Makes a connection for hands free calling and can play music. Lets see how awesome the QNX models work. And why would I think a car system would equil a PC or phone OS?

I don't thinK he is. BlackBerry 10 is awesome and only getting better. The more we talk about it the more publicity it gets. Give it time. I've been making people download BBM to text with me and so far it's working. People are starting to use BBM and hopefully it will attract them to BlackBerry 10

What other motivation to spend so much time bashing a product that is seemingly irrelevant. Even here on Crackberry a supposedly BlackBerry fan site I've seen seen people spend however much time to post thousands, tens of thousands, and the most I've seen is over 72,000 negative posts from a single person.

Thanks for reading every one of them. That's fantastic. How long did it take you?

FYI I'm realistic and not a fanboy. If I feel they are doing something wrong I say so. And if you read them all you would know the majority are in off topic and I probably have helped more people on here than most attempt to. Being as it is, I use a Z30 because I like it. Is it the best phone in the world? I think you need to think about what is bashing and what is someone's opinion.

Since you have read all my post and they all bash bb I challenge you to find 20 where I bash bb.

    Have a good day.

I think this is a bit of a funny coincidence because I wasn't actually writing about you just then. Yes there is another poster that is as productive as you. Do I read every post. No,what I do do is after reading a negative post I press on the person's profile to see how many posts they have made. What I have noticed while doing this is that it seems to me that poster's that seem to me to be negative also seem the most prolific. What I've also noticed is that the most prolific posers tend to be some what passive aggressive starting there posts with "I love BlackBerry but " anyway it is only my personal opinion but I would encourage others to do their own experiment and come to their own conclusion.
