Sorry for the off-topic question, but why are you waiting for 10.3.1 to load the Starbucks android app? Works fine on 10.2.

Unfortunately it's not offered on the Amazon store.

It's not actually an NFC sim. It's a secured SIM that has a special encryption that works with NFC

Just an update on my progress with UGO - I've been using it for a while now and it has worked very well. It has a nice, robust feel to it. At Superstore I learned a couple of tricks - to say "No" when the automated checkout terminal asks "Are you a PC Plus member?" if you're paying with a PC Financial MasterCard because they are tied together; and, if you want to redeem points, do it within the app before proceeding with payment.

Also and update from me: Ugo is working well for me, although I did have a problem in which the card was lost from the app and in the Ugo system and I had to re-add the card. This at have been because I rebooted the phone (Z30) while the app was still open (Ugo tech support wasn't sure what happened).

Anyway, I've used it at many places now, in my hometown of Victoria and also in Edmonton and Calgary over Christmas. It's been used at grocery stores, Canadian Tire, Staples, a gas station (but not at the pump, which I haven't found one to try yet), Chapters bookstore, British Colombia Liquor Stores, and Home Hardware.

Just tried to add President Choice Mastercard. Error UW04. Says to call 844-838-1192. I added PC points (loyalty) and TD Visa (payment) fine yesterday afternoon.

I've been using this few a month or 2 on my Passport.

I've got it connected to my PC Financial Mastercard. It's been working great!

Yup! Got it rockin on my passport! Toronto is really good with tap terminals so it really comes in handy for paying. Plus with my red passport I get lots of "that phone is crazy!"
