Well I just read a post on berryreview that rumor has it that ATT has relieved the Bold family of the 9000 and 9700. The 9000 I saw that coming and the 9700 should be replaced with the 9780. But no, it appears that ATT will not go for the 9780 but will bring in the Dakota around spring time. Nice, really nice. The 9780 would have been a nice upgrade for us 9000 users but I guess the wait will be longer to see what they have up there sleeves.

    Waiting patiently!

A rumour is still a rumour, regardless of the source. I am getting my 9780 via Amazon....

Oh I agree on the rumor thought. I'll just wait alittle longer and see what happens

Hhhhmmmm......that would be pretty bad planning, not carrying the 9780.

The Torch pretty much screwed it up for AT&T customers who were looking to get
    a 9780. I think it's kinda crappy that BB people on AT&T didn't have a choice. Not
    everyone likes sliders.

I think AT&T over estimated the interest in the Torch! I have to admit that I fell in love with the Torch until I got one! Touch screen and keyboard was too much to miss and I thought it would be the best!

After only 25 hours, I found out I was wrong and jumped back to my 9700 till I got the 9780

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the Torch? I love my 9700, but I really miss the keyboard of the 9000. I feel like the upcoming touch screen Bold will leave me wanting a larger touch screen, but the Torch 2 will have the same tiny keyboard as the Torch 1.

    Dilemmas.
