    Is this normal?

In Status it reads 13102942 bytes free

Someone on here said they had 30+ free

Do I have an issue here?

30+ Megs free is very rare on TMo 8320 Curves (which have 64MB total)

You should not have any issues unless your file free falls below 10Mb. I highly recommend following Stoner's Guide (link in my signature). That will help you free up memory a lot!!

How much memory does the ATT Curve have, btw??

I know certain carriers have 96Mb versions... (I think VZW and Sprint) but I was not sure which ones exactly!

I did this before on the old OS.

But the pics are back lol

It should be standard for at least 512 mb of memory. It is just to cheap.

if you're trying to free up memory, it's best to skip the step where you can get all the themes.... delete all the themes EXCEPT the ones of your carrier AND bbdeminsion, bbicon, bbtoday, & BB_I_ the rest you can get rid of...

It is not misnamed. The previous versions before OS 4.5 are named as that...

OS 4.5 brought about some new naming, but it is pretty much straightforward!

I think I have something like 27Mb free... I am satisfied

I like one of those better than the other..but you also have to do some things yourself...that aren't on either of the guides...just depends on what you want to keep

Do you use a microSD card to store media, instead of storing it one device memory??

This will free up a ton of space if you take pics on your camera, load ringtones and music. These files can really bog down device memory fast!!

Exactly!! You can weed through the files and use some logic and figure out other things you would like to get rid of as well.

On TMobile you can remove the myFaves UI to free space. Get rid of the default pics, etc (detailed in Stoner's guide... and Frees up about 3 MB).

You can basically customize your entire OS, no worries... just remember to place all 'deleted' files into a 'remove' folder instead of actually deleting them. Then, in case something goes weird you can put the file back into the Java directory on your PC!

I have just over 17M free. Regular BB install except for the Quincy stuff and PTT for AT&T.

What else can you remove without messing it up? What exactly does MediaLoader do?
