Got the little info from the BBM channels...

    64 bit processes
    Virtualization
    Power Management
    Kernel Introspection
    Memory Partitioning
Optimize kernel per-cpu data layout for better cache performance

Along with this the newly acquired companies will be baked into the OS like a casserole lol.

    Dear lord.

This is the channel that gave you totally bogus Rio specs among other false rumors. Why do people still subscribe?

Most of that QNX info was already out there in the form of rumor, all he did was add some fantasy, and he's got yall perpetuating unsubstantiated rumors. Again.

Thank you my friend for saving me the time in searching for this channel only to come to the same conclusion and watching my memory usage for BBM skyrocket so I would have to do a Hard-reset.

Improved Android support, and possibly support for other OSs such as Windows Phone or iOS.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it very doubtful that Windows phone or IOS are every virtualized in BB10? Android is open source, Windows phone and IOS are not. BB would have to license IOS or Windows phone support.

Google Hackintosh - Computer 101 - anything is possible if you have the right code QNX is that code

This is possible, but we'd never see it on BB10 without being able to root.

It's more likely a feature for use by servers running QNX, not mobile devices. And even then, it wouldn't be iOS running virtualized, it would more likely be Windows or various Linux distributions.

Qnx has nothing to do with hackintosh and hackintosh has nothing to do with virtualization. Pointless comparison.

Thanks also to the poster who pointed out that this channel is BS.

I would like to thank the OP his post. I went over to the channel that he recommend and found it to be quite interesting. The channel clearly says rumors so I don't know what problem you might have with the sight . I certainly don't see it as having any less credibility than this sight, especially when you consider how many people are on this sight making thousands, if not tens of thousands of negative and purposely misleading posts.

Virtualization won't improve Android support but it can completely run Android.

You'll need lots of Ram and 64-bit cpu for addressing.

Blackberry in the work perimeter, Android in the personal perimeter. Dual sim to keep the call and data billing separate. I like that!

    Good grasp there...

Hey, can we dream about x86 virtualization, haha ...? :-)

    Something like this:

This article is a bit older, but I'm gonna do some more research on this very interesting topic...

QNX already supports about all of that you described. You must mean BB10 support for these?

Would bbry consider a phone running two operating systems at the same time?

This is'nt rumours though. Is actually what is happening its a given they were gonna do this .Although not sure if QNX maybe bb10 but all this is a given really over the course of next year. The long delay just looks like they finally getting BB10 near enough to BBOS standard due to bring back keyboards.

There does appear to be a new BlackBerry OS Cryptographic Library in FIOS testing right now per the FIPS website. If they go to a new version of Neutrino other than 6.6, or update the crypto kernel, then they have to run it back through NIST.
