Hopefully you don't need a special SIM card like the Rogers /CIBC cluster.....

The problem with all these mobile payment plans is they all require certain banks & certain carriers. They won't take off until everyone can use them

Rogers finally introduced their mobile wallet today. It's not affiliated with a bank, it's a Rogers app for Rogers customers, and you can add cards to the app, rite now it only supports certain gift cards and also the cibc card as well as a prepaid Mastercard by rogers

You do need a special sim card for this to work. Can't even access the mobile wallet without the sim card.

I like BB10...and that's all that matters to me.

Exactly. You need Rogers and either CIBC or a Rogers Mastercard.

We need something like "ISIS" to become the "debit" of tomorrow. Something that works with every phone and every carrier, regardless of what bank you use

If the cards are already linked to your online profile... then it will automatically show up. all you need to do in the app is to go into the wallet, choose the card and add a pin to it.

It looks like this. Once you added the card, all you need to do is tap on the card.

Make sure you turn on the NFC antenna or ut won't load properly. Once I did that, it was automatic from there. It asked which of my eligible cards I wanted to add. I just entered my PIN for each card and I'm good to go. Used it at a convenience store about 10 mins ago. Still more steps than just pulling the physical card from my wallet, but still pretty cool. Made sure I took the case off my phone so everybody saw the BlackBerry symbol.

Haha! I'm sure people are gonna start asking if that's the new Apple Pay.

Yeah pulling out the card is faster. But in theory this should be safer

    What OS are you running?
I received the update and was able to get the wallet to show up but when I tried to assign a PIN code to my cards, it wouldn't work (circle spin forever). I uninstalled the app and re-installed it but now unable to get that latest version (1.3V)...stuck on the previous version 1.2 with no update showing up since. Wondering if it has anything to do with running 10.3 on my Z10.
