Wow. This happens everytime there's an OS update. People yap and yap about it weeks before hand...hundreds of "where is my update" threads are opened and closed.

Once we get close to another firm(er) date it intensifies.

Then we get into arguments with each other over the update and when it's going to happen.

Bla1ze sits there and shakes his head.

I know why Kevin doesn't come back Bla1ze drew the short straw.

Well maybe they should push out an incomplete OS that has bugs, that would crash your phones just to keep to an unconfirmed schedule after all that's what Apple would do.

BlackBerry doesn't quite exactly hit the "flawless" mark either... lol. I think that's why people give them even more of a hard time.

Delay, delay, delay... still incomplete and certainly with bugs.

    Exactly!

And those constantly excusing them... like above few posts... are partly responsible for BlackBerry thinking they can continue to get away with it.

Let me know when any manufacturer release a totally bug free OS, regardless of however long it was in developement.

Also, I've had my iPhone 6+ now for over three months to replace my BlackBerry Z10 as my personal phone and not once has any bug in any IOS 8.x.x level actually caused my phone to crash.

You will see this happening MOST of the time with BlackBerry... Why not iOS? Why not Symbian? Why rarely with Windows Phone?

I believe BlackBerry also must be able to gauge existing negativity in users (as we see around here and more)... they also must be able to see spread of rumors online, which badly affects user sentiments and also BlackBerry's image, isn't it?..... still they have no way to address it?

Why RIM can't have some connect... some flow of communication with users about upcoming things (updates / fixes) for BB OS?

Are users to be blamed fully?

As much as BlackBerry has changed, there are still a lot of incompetent people making decisions.

They've never once been able to meet a deadline.

I thought I heard someone say on here that the rumour was official rollout begins February 12th with everything said and done by the 19th (not sure why), and I also thought Chen said that it would be released early February, which means if it was released on the 19th it's more middle/late February. But regardless I'm sure that 10.3.1 will definitely be worth it!

If this is the case, so much for "EARLY" February. February has 28 days, it would be considered early if it had a 100 days.

Well I'm using a device direct from BlackBerry that isn't tied to a carrier, so the carrier roll out doesn't affect me...right? Aren't a vast number of people and probably even a majority at this point on non-carrier issued BB10 devices?
All phones which you buy upfront and unlocked, are free to do as they wish. Real 'Players', like me, buy their phones upfront and unlocked. Be Real or be weak! If you want to run with the big dogs, ya can't pee like a puppy!

From the outside everything seems..... BlackBerry Z30 on 10.3.1 is solid, just came off two years on a Nexus 4 running Lollipop, it still reminds me of Microsoft, layers upon layers. Simple dumb stuff like in settings over view, touching WiFi shuts off WiFi, to get full WiFi set up you have to borrow deeper. ~back on BlackBerry and never leaving again.
