Has anyone seen this? I can't find a single Z10 at any of the T-Mobile stores. Great promotion, but cart before the horse I think. The stores I called weren't even aware of this promo until I told them. I'd like to test drive one first before I give up my Bold.

And you probably won't, short of stores that still have a few Z10s left-over from purchases months ago, because T-Mo stopped stocking BBs in stores a while back. You CAN get the promotion price by going into the store and having them order a new Z10 or Q10 for you, to be shipped direct to you. That won't help you try one out, though.

You probably wouldn't have been happy trying out an in-store display anyway - the demo mode wasn't particularly useful to me, and many stores had security straps covering the screens. Try to find someone local who has a Z10 and try theirs - you'll get a much better experience that way.

T-Mobile: We have received your information and will connect you with a T-Mobile Chat Specialist soon.
Jennifer: Thank you for your patience.
Jennifer: Thank you for visiting T-Mobile today! How may I help you?
You: How much should I expect to pay to order a BlackBerry Q10 or BlackBerry Z10? I only see a refurbished Q10 listed on the website.
Jennifer: I'd be happy to check the cost of Blackberry phones.
Jennifer: Before we continue, may I please ask if you are an existing T-Mobile customer?
You: I am not. I have thinking about switching from Sprint. Jennifer: Thank you for your interest in T-Mobile! Jennifer: A moment please as I check costs.
Jennifer: I apologize we don't offer BlackBerry Z10 and the Blackberry Q10 we have is Refurbished.
Jennifer: I apologize we don't have Blackberry Q10 that is not refurbished.
You: The BlackBerry trade-in offer says "In addition, for those existing T-Mobile BlackBerry customers trading-in and choosing a new BlackBerry Q10 or Z10"
You: But you don't sell the Z10? I know it is not sold in stores but figured I could at least order in for delivery.
Jennifer: I apologize we are currently updating the website and as of now we don't have pricing yet for BlackBerry Z10 on the website.
You: Is that just on the website through you? Can I order a BlackBerry Z10 in store? Jennifer: You may go to a T-Mobile store to check if they have BlackBerry Z10. You: Okay thank you.
Jennifer: To clarify are you also looking to trade in a phone?
You: Well I wanted a BlackBerry Q10 and a Z10. If you cannot sell me one, as the offer states I am not interested. Thank you.
    Jennifer: You're welcome.
Jennifer: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
    You: No that was it.
Jennifer: Thank you for visiting T-Mobile.com today.
    Jennifer: Have a good weekend.

Greetings All. I called two T-Mo stores here in Sacramento, CA and at each store the person who answered the phone was very knowledgeable about this promotion. I was told that all the BBs that were stocked in the stores had been recalled a while back. Further, they said there were two ways to take advantage of this promotion.

    1) Turn in your current BB and they credit your account the $200 and if you are also presently a T-Mo customer they would credit an additional $50. And, the phone would be shipped to you.

    2) You keep your present BB and they place the order for you and ship you your new BB Q or Z. Then, when you get your new phone you send them your current BB that you are trading in and when they receive your BB they credit your account.

They both seemed very clear and prepared to answer questions about this promotion.

I did use the offer to trade in an old 9700 to get $200 off my daughter's new iPhone 5c. It's a good promotion. I might use my old pearl to get $200 off a phone for one of the boys. She was using a galaxy S3 so I guess they got an android user to switch to iPhone by offering a discounted price with a legacy BlackBerry trade in. It's a little confusing but it saved me $200 and she's very happy with her slick new iPhone. So I'm happy. And I'm still loving my Z10. All is good.

seems nice but you cannot trade in a BBOS7 phone for a BB10 phone as of yet. As you see in these forums no one has been able to get a BB10 phone yet with that deal. T-Mobile is a joke

you got lucky then obviously, because there are many people saying that there isn't any new Q10s or any Z10s. They're isn't even any listed on the site besides business Z10s which consumers can't get.

They are available to everyone...just not in the store...they have to be ordered. But They ARE available via overnight free shipping...just like T mobile has claimed.

It was very simple and there was no effort to change my mind.

this still doesn't answer my rebuttal: there is "no" BB10 devices online so it is "impossible" to order from them unless you want a Q10 refurb. No consumers can buy from the business side of the site.
    Meaning no BB10 devices

Hence, why you were lucky :P

Again, they are available to everyone but you have to go into the store. They are available to consumers too.

The transaction can only be processed in store but the new device is shipped via free overnight shipping.

Did you have to open a new line or did they let you just buy the phone to use as a backup with your existing SIM?

That's a lie. The 200 is for everyone. The additional 50 off is for existing customers. Are prepaid customers not customers? They sure are. I'd debate that one until I won.

    Keep trying.
