    I'm sure a man like him does, not to mention that he's probably friendly with several private equity firms that could give him a hand. I'd be rather interested in seeing him take charge, but we'll have to wait and see how many of these rumoured bidders actually emerge with true offers.

    I really believe that the technology is there... BlackBerry is just a marketing play now that the hard work has been done.

    Sculley is 74 years old. If he did arrange a buyout I doubt he'd install himself as CEO, he'd probably look for somebody younger who he could mentor. I don't really see anything in his comments that indicate he's interested in making a bid anyway.
