I don't use them, but glad that they're coming to the BB10 ecosystem. It will hopefully shut up a few of the "no apps" naysayers, but probably not.

Naysayers will ***** that it's a third party app and not the real thing. While continuing to ***** at BlackBerry instead of the company not supporting BB10.

The general public will only care how functional the apps are compared to what they are used to on iOS and Android.

They wont just care if the apps are "available", and they wont necessarily care if the apps are third party because I doubt they even know what 'third party' developer means.

I'm not sure what snappy is to be honest but I think igrann is the Instagram client and while it may not be an official client it's still nice to have available. However, and this is a big however, it does not solve the problem of people asking "does it have Instagram". This isn't "naysaying" it's merely reality, The developer of igrann doesn't have the money to invest in marketing and advertising that it's Instagram client for BlackBerry. Even if he did your average consumer would see the "i" and assume it was an iPhone application anyway. So yes, while it's really nice to have, it does not help the point-of-sale problem.

    you guess it correctly...

and 3rd party application only help the current BB10 user..but not useful to attract new buyers..it's kind of sad when you compare BB10 phone app list and android/iPhone app list when someone pull their phone from their pocket you can see instagram, snapchat, vine, google maps etc , while when you pull your BB10 phone you only see snappy, whine, igrann, bemaps etc

besides i'm questioning about the apps reliability, and security ? doesn't most BB10 user proud of reliability and security of their phone ?

I presume it's a third party Snapchat app.
