I observed this during the demo of the Passport Toronto Launch. I don't remember the guy's name. But here is a pic attached.
Attached Thumbnails Guess what's the next device in BB's pipeline? Going by the name a budget QWERTY phone Q3.-untitled.png

Why is it a phone and not the third quarter?

I'm 99% sure it just means third quarter. But dreamers gotta dream, right?

Yeah means, 3rd quarter. Wouldn't grammatically make sense otherwise.

Q1-Q4 would definitely refer to the fiscal quarters, not to another phone

Anyway... yeah it's Q3 pipeline as in quarter 3... but it means something is in Quarter 3!

We can't forget that BlackBerry is trying to target the Enterprise segment now, cheap work phones for employees.

I think maybe all touch phones might be on the back burner for now, with the exception of the Z3 in emerging markets and hopefully North America.

That would spell disaster for BlackBerry. While BlackBerry might be concentrating on the business market they have to remember that most people still want touch devices. They also have to remember that with businesses going to BYOD they have to keep the consumer in mind.

It was disastrous for BlackBerry to overlook and underestimate the touch screen before. Hopefully they don't make the same mistake twice.

I completely agree with you. I love my Z30 and would recommend it to everyone I know. I'm hoping that we get a Z50 that has similar specs to the Passport.
