Actually mine gets that way easily. I'm always obsessively cleaning it.

This is incredibly easy to fake. All you have to do is take a screenshot from an android phone and create an app with the name called Play Store that displays that screenshot and load the bar file onto the phone. With 0 evidence of anything in action, this is no confirmation at all.
That is very plausible. Thanks for the thought.

Pictures received from friend at BlackBerry. Running some 10.2.1.1xxx build.

    Not sure of specifics.
Just curious, why is the thread title "found these online" if they were actually sent to you by a friend? I'm not calling you a liar. Just asking.

I guess. Not saying you're wrong. It just seems to me that would be a heck of a lot of work. I don't believe the app works as it's just as easy to do what I said earlier. Convert the apk to a bar and run it.

I am not talking about converting any apk. Just use the native BB SDK and create a basic app that displays a picture. Anyone who knows the basics of developing a simple app can do this.

I'm just wondering, could you photoshop a photo of this filty quality? ijs how can you prove or continue to say it's fake?
First you get your Android phone and take a screenshot. Then you upload it to Photoshop to add the BB10 status bar and Peek thingy. Then you display those edited screenshots on the Z30 and take a snapshot. Simple.

Wow cool, I think it's much harder to PS an image if the screen is filthy!

    Fired from my Z10
Maybe the filthy part was purposely made to show that this is not a photoshop.

But wouldn't it show "Pictures" where it says play store on the app bar, if it was done this way.

You know what, I'm just gonna go home and side load the play store. Lol. That's my theory. Doesn't mean I can dl apps, just means I can get it running. I'm done. Lol.

I understand it is blacklisted but there's an APK out there. That can be converted to a bar file and then sideloaded.

No. It will not work. Even if you convert it, it is still blacklisted.

I can hide the navigation bar, and I have the runtime update from BlackBerry World. Just swipe down from the top of the screen.

It's just a rumour right now. I highly doubt it will ever come to fruition. Still, the possibility exists.

It's the last picture that really gets me... it's like someone dipped their finger in butter or something then smeared it up and down the phone.
Either that or he has oily skin and passed his fingers on his face.

Imo this move would bring blackberry back to where it belongs.
No more app gap which is the reason it's struggling
