When you consider that they made between $600,000 - $850,000 a day at their height, $300 million more than Blackberry seems reasonable.

Have you ever read once anything positive on blackberry at Cnn?

Yeah, when BlackBerry was #1. There is no media conspiracy. Unfortunately BlackBerry deserves the ridicule it's not CNN's fault BlackBerry's leadership lacked vision to keep BlackBerry on top

BlackBerry had apps kind of like knock offs though. They had Angry Birds we had mean chickens. They had Skype we had BB Morse code. They had Netflix we had some silly app to look at my computer screen playing netflix. They had several OS upgrades we(PlayBook) had broken promises. They moved forward to become #1 in all developed nations. We are like #3 in Yugoslavia. What killed the BlacBerry was lack of leadership and hand puppet CEO's telling me it was the hardest decision of their lives.
And it was the lack of leadership that lead to an outdated os and hardware, resulting in little to no app support

And thats why I called for Alec's head.... He knew better than to push knockoffs to us.... The Nuremberg defense doesn't work.

Put that in the context of xBox & Playstation and does it still seem as ridiculous?

Well the game is popular lol no doubt about that, just ridiculous how a game can determine what platform someone goes to.

Lol I was actually gonna put that in my original statement, but it's irrelevant here. A console is meant just for gaming, you really can't bring that in the court of law. By the way, I'm still torn between the Xbox one and ps4 hmm....... decisions decisions.

So this part then: "Google frowns upon apps delivering repetitive content in its Play Store. Google requires developers to individually submit each app for approval, which works as a deterrent towards app spam."

What about the many many copies of fake BBM for Android apps that showed up in the Play Store this passed weekend? Someone at Google was individually approving those?

    Looked pretty spammy to me.
There is no App Approval process for the Play Store, it's absolutely ridiculous. All that's done is probably a virus scan of the APK file.... MAYBE...

LOL -- They have nothing to do with each other, but an organization that puts out a crappy app complaining about crappy apps bringing the platform down? Come on.
I actually think CNN was being kind in focusing just on apps. They could have chronicled all the major missteps from BBRY over the past few years that contributed to the disaster we are seeing today but they didn't. They also didn't even rub salt in the wounds by pushing hard on the crappy app rollout for BBM.

They need to take some pointers from BBW's pristine process. With one developer making, uh, several apps, you can be sure BBRY has your back.

That's next weeks show. Gotta keep up the ratings. Nothing gets eyed glued to the screen like a train wreck in progress.

Yes, the purpose of the hardware and OS is for a stable platform to use apps. Of course when apps aren't there that leaves the rest having limited value for most users.

Well, technically, BlackBerry has vine too, natively.
You download it from the Google play store on your BlackBerry PRIV.
