    To use in what phones?

How many Snapdragon S4, S4 Pro, S4 Plus, and 801s do you think Huawei still makes... or ever made?

Because those are the only processors that BB10 supports.

I'm not counting the TI OMAP4470 processor in the STL100-1 Z10 that BB stopped supporting with 10.3.3.xxxx

Can huawei use their own processor to build a os for bb10? Huawei doesn't have to rely on snapdragon processor since Huawei have their own processor.

    Here is some related article.

BB10 would still have to be updated to support those processors.

IIRC, Alex Thurber was trying to get someone to license BB10 a few years ago but he may have left BlackBerry. Technical hurdles aside I'm not sure anyone is still at BlackBerry to champion OS licensing.

At this point if you want a fully gesture based OS that isn't Android, your only options are iOS or Sailfish.

Well, since BB is still a tech company that still has ties to the U.S., they would be obligated to be part of the ban against Huawei, so that option would be out of the question anyway.

I also don't think BB would ever let Huawei close to the QNX base, which is still a big IP asset in the services BB is still actually making money on.

Well you really can’t be the guy championing an OS from 2012-2013 since most companies maybe interested would have stopped when no BB11 emerged. Shouldn’t we be on BB15 or BB16 now?
