Weve known that the L-Series will be unveiled at the BlackBerry 10 launch events world-wide. However, rumors had previously pinned the BlackBerry X10 N-Series to launch sometime in June 2013.

Were hearing that the X10 N-Series will in fact release the same time as the BlackBerry Z10 L-Series. There will also be two variants of the L-Series launched on January 30th: 3G and LTE models.

Lets hope what were hearing is spot on and there wont be much waiting after the BlackBerry 10 unveiling to get your hands on a Z10 or X10. Though, be mindful your carrier plays the biggest role in the launch timeliness. So far weve seen T-Mobile may not release the Z10 L-Series until March!

Of course it will launch alongside of the Z10. It's been confirmed from the very beginning.

I think you're getting launched and Released mixed up. X10 will Be Unveiled at the Launch the same day as the Z10. IT will NOT be released/available the same time as the Z10. Full Touch will be Released/available before the X10.

Rogers customer services called to say my wife qualified for a hardware upgrade. She asked about the BB10 coming soon. They said it was going to be priced at $349 on a 3 year contract. Cost is $749.

Jesus that is steep. I know RIM wants to earn dollars again with its hardware sales but that is fleecing people. Lets hope the rep was wrong there, I thought Apple was bad....

I'm pretty sure the person who wrote the article is confused between launched and available. I've definitely heard that the X10 is coming later, maybe a month or two, but that's just an educated guess (with a pinch of inside info from someone who would know). I bet the sales split in the first year will be 80-20 full touch vs keyboard version, people want big screens, and the software keyboard is excellent on the Z10.

Sorry but that is totally implausible.

Misleading title. N4BB should look up the difference between a phone announcement and actual launch date. January 30 is the announcement - the launch date will vary by carrier/networks.

The article itself is what is confused where it seems to randomly mix up the terms launch and release, the n series has always been scheduled to be launched on jan 30th, but has never been intended to be released as soon as the l-series and there is nothing that indicates that this has changed.

The lack of any decent leaks yet on the n-series would seem to indicate that it is not due out anytime soon.

Launch or unveiling? How will apps be ready for it? Dev alpha C hasn't even been handed out yet.

Both devices will launch on Jan 30th, only the l-series will be launched close to that date.

It's RIM's blunder to have called the unveiling a "launch" from the start

They need to stop this "launch" business. It does not reflect well on them and causes confusion.
