I said once before that the best thing they could do would be to hand out both iPhones and Androids to everyone that was in development or made decisions it the company. For too long they lived in a bubble.

But yeah I wouldn't go and advertise it either.

LOL, who cares. The CEO of Google uses a BlackBerry but that certainly hasn't hurt Android.

I'm sure this was the result of an outside marketing firm posting the tweet, not someone at BlackBerry HQ. But still.. should not have happened obviously.

I agree. Were it someone from BlackBerry's in-house paste eating marketing division, it would be a) much worse than just using an iPhone and b) every other tweet.

Or someone in BlackBerry using a personal device without thinking.

Totally agree that they should be intimately familiar with competitors. But use your head of when and where. For obvious reasons, avoid situations where it can cause damage, like it did above

Why are the media so fast to jump on conclusion when it comes to Blackberry mistakes? What are they afraid of BlackBerry? Is Blackberry will be a threat to the other platforms in a few years? They could use an iPhone to test on software they are working on for the iPhone IOS. Whenever a little wrong thing happen to BlackBerry, they propagate news like there is no tomorrow. When iPhone got hack with naked picture, how many times did the media propagate the bad news? May be half day to a day that’s it. It is so absurd.

Really?? this is such an issue??.. Maybe BlackBerry is practicing what they preach with BYOD an management device software an lowering device cost internally. You cant write management software for other devices an not use them daily too

I'm going to ask you this again: Why are you here?

All you do is complain about how everything is awful, in every way. How nothing is ever right, everything is wrong and everyone is better than BlackBerry at everything.

If you hate every single solitary thing, buy another device and go haunt another forum. Please and thank you.
