I don't think this would be the appropriate forum to announce any sale or partnerships. I would think it would be some sort of press release straight out of waterloo.

Then again, nobody thought they'd officially announce the Z30 and OS 10.2 in Malaysia, but they did.

    So who knows?

This is just poor use of English, and the statement means they will be making major announcements, not necessarily on the 24th of October.

Nothing like burying a product launch like holding it in a country that is not the most significant market for BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10. While the one percent buy the BlackBerry Z30 in India the other ninety-nine percent bare survive each day. For some reason the song "99 Red Balloons" plays in my head.

I am not sure where you got the 1%, it would definitely be higher than that. For sure BlackBerry messed up its market in India. It was going ok and could have revived their position but they zonked the bb10 launch.
Even the 1% (if you say so) of India forms a formidable number and BlackBerry has always foolishly overlooked the market. They don't even have maps after launching their products for this long. Had read somewhere that India is amongst the top 5 when it comes to smartphone markets. This is mainly due to the population of India, where even a small % will for huge amount of sales.
I'm pretty sure even the 1% will not buy if they follow the pricing strategy of the Z10.

Are you fu*king living in some kind of a hole? It's interesting how some Blackberry redneck fans keep beating their developed country drum while Blackberry is having hard time gaining any traction in these so called developed countries. The main reason Blackberry survived last couple of years is because of these emerging markets, including India. Too bad they screwed up with the launch of BB10 with their ridiculous pricing, thanks to the bunch of morons sitting at the top in Blackberry mgmt. All major companies, including Apple are running to emerging markets because that's where the growth is but I guess you won't understand that, so please go back to living in your closed hole.

and still India has more billionaires than Canada(if they have any)...the growth in India is explosive and stop the nonsense about how backwards and poor they are because things are changing fast there and Blackberry has become insignificant now that 4g and LTE is starting to be implemented and users abandoned obsolete BBRY and switching to iphones and Android in droves.

Would make sense as it is F1 weekend in India and BB has been sporting BBM logos since the failed launch. So would make sense to use the opportunity. OTOH BBRY has been very good at messing up PR chances

Hi there, you may want to get your facts correct. Also, you may want to check what you write about any country in an open forum. A little googling about India would definitely help your point of view!!

    Thanks
