Keep hearing there are inventory issues in Indonesia... hope they get those areas restocked. (unless they are trying to create some demand).

The Z10 was selling very well in India for around RS. 14,000, but I think inventory has been an issue there.

Supply issues in Indonesia could be because they are building up stock for India..

They probably have a production schedule that they are keeping. Any unsold inventory from new launches can be relocated where necessary.

You can't be perfect in guessing demand, but they have made the right mistake this time.

So Vietnam and India are next on the calendar. Which other Asian country do you guys think will be up after those?
Malaysia, Thailand, Phillipines or do you think they'll focus on the African continent?

Not being able to keep up with demand isn't the worst problem you could be.

with all the money they lost on their extra Z10's, it kinda is for the Z10. They should just try to get rid of all they have left then get Foxconn to carry on the production if they actually sell out of them.

It's good they are making the Z3 as they go, smart move so we don't get the Z10 write off disaster again.

BlackBerry always get their pricing wrong in India. Indian market is moving towards Android and Windows Phone with iPhone the new alpha device among the affluent and aspirational kind. The ones who were waiting for OS 10 devices were seriously disappointed with the launch price.

Then there are the other kind (like me) who bought a Z10 st full launch price only to see the phone being available for almost 60% less within 6 months of launch. No doubt Z10 was a fantastic device and my current Z30 is even better.

I have my fingers crossed. This is a good price point to launch a 5" smartphone in India. Most college students and BBM enthusiasts might switch to this phone. BlackBerry should DEFINITELY launch Z3 with an exchange offer for all the Curve legacy devices. I see a chunk of people using BlackBerry Curve 8520. They all should be given an incentive to switch immediately.
