    I think the ones doing the tricking are heavily involved with the competition. (and BlackBerry has already patched it.)

    But from what I've been reading up on products like Cylance... they should be used to supplement traditional list based Antivirus and not as a replacement just yet.

    It's still early in the development cycle for this kind of technology. It remains the right direction, but it will experience growing pains for sure.

    I will say that Cylance goes back a few years now. One community I visit from time to time Spiceworks has been using it going back years (2015), as Dell use to push it to their Enterprise customers. Cylance had over 1,200 followers on that IT site.

    But at least on Spiceworks... Cylance seems to have peaked a few years ago.
