The link is labeled "Update Your BlackBerry 10 OS to Version 10.2" but is redirects you to a page to download Link and gives OTA update instructions. That doesn't mean that you will be able to get 10.2 unless your carrier has already released it.

Yeah I was wondering because that link only showed for countries that already had 10.2 officially, and it's new for the U.S.

I'm not doing leaks of OS. Too much risk there for my device. At least I haven't done it yet. But I do eventually and hopefull by end of the year be able to run 10.2 in some form.

I'm really about ready to sideload a new version of the OS. It is ridiculous and pathetic how long We have had to wait for the update here in the U.S.

Yep. It seems like the OS has been out for three months or so now.

Pretty much. I honestly don't quite know why the U.S. Lags behind so much but it's irritating.

If Mr. Chen wants to improve things, focusing on fragmentation of the OS would be a good place to start. That alone would help things.

It's not really BBRY's fault. The carriers are extremely powerful when it comes to what goes on their networks. Apple has been able to strong-arm them more than is customary. My old Android didn't get the official 2.2 release on Telus until ~6m after it dropped in Europe and it turned out to the last and only one I got.

Totally agree. That's one way of improving with their customers in the U.S a very important market.

There's a lot of things BlackBerry can learn and should from Apple like how to properly present and market their products.

I open Crackberry and am happy to see NBC released an app which gives us CBS, ABC, and now NBC shows on our phone. Then I try to download the app and it as unavailable for my device? Why? Only for 10.2. The NBC app is only available for USA, but yet we don't have the 10.2 app. Yes.......I know I can load a leak, but we shouldn't have to. Thanks ATT.
