That's what all my kids are on.... Very cheap local service. I might have to buy them a curve now and test out the internet.

This will only be available in some MetroPCS markets. All their newer markets where Metro runs on the 1700/2100mhz spectrum they recently bought will not get the Curve. (Philly, Vegas, NYC etc)

AFAIK it is launching in FL first through Best Buy.

Where I am they have unlimited calling for 40 a month and with the BIS plan that would be 50 a month for unlimited calling and data.

Hello, Hello, Hello.......(to Metro PCS' music)

Yeah, its realy a no brainer. If I was Sprint or Verizon I would be scared to death. Especially with that 10 year roaming agreement Metro and Leap signed.

MetroPOS does make money somewhere - all of their hidden fees and passing along all of the telecom taxes to their customers. MetroPOS $50 plan = $62/month.

What about areas that run on the 1700mhz AWS band? For example the NYC market. I would assume this will be available in limited areas.

Metro-Pcs They are very popular here in Central Florida, never any complaints, could take a bite out of the big dogs, with Blackberry 8330 ! Still a great phone !!! I'm month to month with verizon, it is tempting with this current economy, voice and data 40 + 10 = 50 a month is great deal.

    Thank you.
